Bruno’s 50th birthday brought a jazz theme to a celebration at his home.
With a black and white palette and a stretch tent as the setting, we created separate spaces for dining, lounging, drinks and a BBQ.
Farmhouse dining tables and black Chiavari chairs gave the dining section its character. Rustic lounges, barrels and a bar counter introduced a more casual feel, while a disco ball, festoon lights and LED table lighting brought the setup together.

The challenge
The brief called for several experiences within one tent. The dining section needed a clear place in the layout, alongside a lounge and a bar and BBQ area. Our task was to bring those sections into a coherent jazz themed setting.
We used the black and white palette as a consistent reference, then brought in wood textures and different types of lighting to give the spaces their own character.
What we created
A stretch tent with distinct sections
The stretch tent framed the celebration and brought its different sections into one setting. Dining had its own space, with a lounge alongside it and a dedicated bar and BBQ section.

The rustic lounges offered an alternative to dining chairs. Barrels added to the informal furniture mix, while the bar counter gave the drinks area a clearly defined place in the setup.

Farmhouse tables and black Chiavari chairs
We paired farmhouse dining tables with black Chiavari chairs. The wood introduced warmth, while the chairs carried the black element of the colour scheme through the dining section.

Custom cutout centrepieces added a personal detail to the tables. LED table lighting completed the arrangement and introduced light at the level where guests would sit and dine.

Disco ball and festoon lighting
Lighting was an important part of the visual design. Festoon lights brought a warm glow beneath the tent, while the disco ball added a party detail overhead. Together with the LED table lighting, these elements gave the setup interest at different heights.
The result
The finished setup brought dining, lounging and the bar and BBQ area together beneath one stretch tent. Black and white details gave the celebration a consistent identity, with farmhouse tables and rustic furniture adding warmth to Bruno’s jazz themed 50th.
