But first, some details below on an elopement we helped deliver…
What’s Kenya really like?
First, Kenya is a land of amazing people, great beauty and natural contrasts.
Geographically it consists of a mix of vast savannah landscape, lush green Kenya highlands with cool weather and; luxurious sandy beaches.
Even though Kenya is on the equator, the weather generally tends to be more sunny, dry and temperate for the better part of the year. The coast is hotter and humid though but at least the ocean breeze helps to cool it for most of the year.
Note, short rains fall between March to May and the long rains between October to November.
Second, Kenya has incredible wildlife and natural resources.

While in Kenya prepare to enjoy diverse wildlife where game parks, reserves and private conservancies offer the best experience. Some take the business of luxury to another level with high level guest relations, gourmet meals, and infinity pools in exquisite locations.
Your Kenyan safari elopement can include luxury stays in these spaces where you’ll enjoy wholesome exclusive animal sightings.
What Qualifies as a Luxury Wedding in Africa?
Third, diverse people, food and culture.
Kenya has about 50 million people and 42 tribes all with unique traditions, cultural practices and culinary experiences. The majority population consists of people below 35 years, a good number especially in the urban areas are modern, tech savvy and educated.
Away from the urban areas, we have rural communities like the Maasai and Samburu communities who’ve largely maintained their traditional way of life.
Encounters with them will give you a glimpse into conventional Kenyan village life, traditions, arts and crafts, adding another rich layer to your safari elopement in Kenya experience.

Fourth, politics and stability.
It’s no secret that Kenya has its fair share of challenges with governance, accountability and a somewhat restless youthful populace. But it’s an active democracy with a robust legal structure and strong national institutions to guarantee peaceful co-existence.
Kenyans care about good governance, its impact on their lives, reputation and future hence there’s freedom of speech allowing citizens to voice their concerns and express their displeasure with the ruling class.
