4.  If the 21-day wait is a problem, submit a written justification to the Registrar for consideration of a shorter timeline.

Costs to budget for

The marriage certificate itself costs Kshs. 50,000. When you add the notice fee, special licence, and legal costs, budget for Kshs. 80,000 to 100,000 in total.
